ADVA in Poland is looking for a Software Architect willing to contribute to the development of a network management system. As a Software Architect, you will become a part of the delivery team and you will be responsible for the architecture of the system, as well as for key areas re-design and improvements. Other tasks and responsibilities Software architecture definition and high-level design Full lifecycle of Java 8 applications - design, implement, debug Decomposition of the tasks along software construction process Performing code reviews to the team members Performing unit tests and fixing reported defects Documentation of the requirements and development process
Excellent knowledge of Java Very good knowledge of architectures and software construction techniques Very good knowledge of object-oriented design principles and design patterns Good knowledge of LINUX/UNIX system Good software documentation and presentation skills Scientific degree in the field of computer science or similar Very good English communication skills (spoken and written) More than 5 years of work experience in production environment Additional, desired technical qualifications Familiarity with telecommunication standards G.709, TAPI Knowledge of IP-based networks, TCP-based applications, REST, YANG Work experience with Junit, Google Unit test framework Experience with compilation, static code analysis and code review tools (Gradle, SonarQube, Upsource) Practical knowledge of Agile development techniques Experience with version control systems (GIT, SVN)v
